Aussie Curves {Feminine}

I think feminine in winter is quite hard to pull off… When it’s summer I’m all about flirty pretty dresses and tops… But in winter (maybe it’s because I hate the cold) my wardrobe gets darker and edgier. It’s all dark denims and leggings, but I was determined to find something both true to me and true to the season to work for this week’s Aussie Curve theme: Feminine.

The first piece was easy – my new Floral Bomber Jacket from Wonderlust. I know I’m totally late to the party on this one – but I genuinely had no idea THE ICONIC stocked so many curvy brands. I’m always pushing myself to go into new stores when I go shopping just-in-case… But I have recently realized I’m quite narrow minded when it comes to looking for clothes online.

The black base of the floral helps me pair it with my other ‘winter wardrobe’ pieces while still maintaining a feminine look…

Jacket: Wonderlust Floral Bomber Jacket from THE ICONIC – Gifted (I’m wearing a 16)
Pants: Grey pleather stripe jeans from Dorothy Perkins (I’m wearing an 18)
Top: Everyday Basic Black ribbed top from Kmart (I’m wearing an 18)
Heels: Platform Heels from Torrid (wide width)
Necklace: Bubble necklace from Etsy

So somehow I’ve managed to do Feminine Week without a whisper of pink and no dress in sight! Go figure! Don’t forget to check out the other Aussie Curves girls as they go all girly… Find us on Facebook to join the fun!
